South West Uganda is a fertile, densely populated area with very little education or employment opportunities. This has left high illiteracy rates within an ever growing population.

Local pioneer Horace knows first hand how tough life in this community can be, orphaned at nine years old he had to work hard to provide for his basic needs and education.  This motivated him to help transform his community so that children like him would no longer suffer alone.
