Earlier this month JJ were pleased to welcome Peter Karanja, East African Development Manager for our partner, Hand in Hand. He made his first visit to JJ Excel College, and returned to the primary and secondary schools to see their progress. The primary seven pupils were celebrating their final day at school before their Primary Leaving Examinations – Peter shared some words of wisdom and encouragement before praying for the pupils.
The national UCE examinations for Senior Four students have been completed, the school end of year exams are over, the secondary annual PTA (Parents and Teachers’ Association) meeting was held last Saturday, 24th November at the secondary school, and the third term will end tomorrow, marking the end of another school year at the secondary school.
Meanwhile the primary school are busy preparing for their “Speech Day” for parents, with a dress rehearsal today attended by students from both the secondary school and JJ Excel College, together with some staff members.
I see a lot of creativity in their costumes, as if they are shinning angels, as a former teacher I miss all these activities,i wish if I had attended to cheer them up,lots of love
