Its holiday time, but not everybody is resting….

Children living near the schools have been enjoying some reading activities and educational games; conscientious teachers have been preparing lessons for the new term and young volunteers have been helping to clean classrooms at the primary school.

At the secondary the headteacher has been busy with various activities including fixing glasses in windows and drying cabbage harvested from the garden to be used in school lunches;  2 residents in the area have voluntarily fixed a barbed wire fence around the school; other volunteers and visitors have been painting windows; carpenters are busy making more desks and stools for new students; a team of builders have completed two rooms in the new classroom block……
